Planning Data Collection

The CESSDA archives will offer advice to data collectors from the earliest stages of their research undertaking until the moment the data are prepared for archiving. This section covers the most common aspects of concern to all data collectors; it is, of course, an outline of an ideal set of procedures. Following the suggestions here will ensure that your data are ready for archival deposit with much less work at the end.
