CESSDA Expert Seminar 2012

Data Acquisition and License Agreements

October 4-5, Tampere, Finland

The CESSDA Expert Seminar 2012 will take place in Tampere, Finland, 4 - 5 October, get-together on Wednesday evening October 3. The title of the seminar is "Data Acquisition and License Agreements".

We are inviting presentations and talks on all aspects of the acquisition process. The idea is to share and learn from difficult as well as successful experiences that we all have in data acquisition, and how the wording and conditions in the licenses affect the process. How to balance between conflicting interests of data depositors, data users and research subjects to make the acquisition process smooth and satisfactory to all parties?
